Yoga Nidra — Guided Yogic Sleep (Brain Wake, Body Sleep)

Modern life moves fast, and many minds will not stand down. This Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) class is a gentle lying-down introduction: guided words invite the body into deep rest while a thread of awareness stays online — “brain awake, body asleep.”
Come if you want a structured rest practice after a loaded day. Education and guided practice only — not a medical treatment. Choose the 25-minute online introduction or the 60-minute guided class at checkout.

Support — Deep rest is framed as nervous-system recovery that can indirectly support daytime energy.

Support — The practice keeps awareness online, helping people relate more honestly to body and emotion.

• Yoga Nidra is a guided, lying-down yogic-sleep practice. The body rests; a thin layer of awareness stays online.
• Autonomic literacy: practise noticing the shift from “wired” to “resting” — education, not treatment.
• Brain Wake, Body Sleep: keep awareness at the edge of rest while the body is invited to stand down.
• A method you can reuse: short cues for high-pressure weeks — not a clinical protocol.

• Expected in class, not guaranteed: many people notice softer muscles and a quieter mind after about 60 minutes.
• A felt state — “brain awake, body deeply resting” — not a medical result and not a sleep-disorder outcome.
• Take-home cues: a short body-scan and breathing phrase you can try later at a desk or before bed.
• Clearer self-observation: how a loaded day shows up in the body when you try to wind down.

• Teaching frame only. Ideas from the Yoga Nidra tradition and relaxation education. Not a clinic and nothing is measured.
• Body scan: naming parts of the body so attention has somewhere to rest.
• Alpha / Theta may be mentioned as classroom language for “settling” — not a hospital EEG.
• Words like vagal tone or cortisol, if used, are metaphors. No hormone test, no diagnosis.

• People with a full load who want a lying-down rest class, not another hard workout.
• People whose mind keeps talking when they try to lie down — beginners welcome, no yoga background.
• People who prefer plain, structured guidance over mystic packaging.
• Book a clinician first if you are in an acute trauma flare, a psychiatric crisis, or under medical care for a sleep disorder. This class is not treatment.

FAQ | Frequently Asked Questions

Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a guided practice done lying down. The body rests while a thin layer of awareness stays online. This collection groups the Experience Class, the regular Practice Class, and the science behind method video.

Experience Class is a one-session workshop to taste the method. Practice Class is a regular class to repeat it. The self-learn video is a science behind method recording you learn at home. They are three products, not checkout variants.

No. Beginners are welcome. There is no standing flow and no flexibility test. You practise lying down.

New to the method: start with the Experience Class. If you already practise yogic sleep, you can book the Practice Class directly.

Some people drift; some stay quietly aware. Both can be useful. The teaching aim is “brain awake, body asleep,” not forcing sleep.

No. It is an educational wellness class only. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure insomnia, anxiety, depression or any disease. Ask a registered clinician first if you are under care for a sleep or mental-health condition.

Comfortable clothes. A mat and blanket are often provided. Eye mask is optional. Keep the room quiet. No recording (class IP). After this workshop you can join the Practice Class.
