This policy explains how Awareness Wellness Resources & Training Centre (“AWRTC”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit www.awrtc.com, book a class or service, join membership, or contact us.

AWRTC operates independently. If independent practitioners offer services through this platform, those services are provided under their own responsibility and their own privacy practices.

We comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.

2. What we collect
We may collect:
• Name, phone number, email and billing details
• Booking, class, membership and purchase records
• Messages you send us by website, email or WhatsApp
• Health or comfort information you choose to give so a class can be run safely (for example injury or pregnancy). This is used only for education and class safety. It is not kept as a medical treatment record
• Technical data used to run the shop, such as device, browser and approximate location (via Shopify)

We do not seek children’s data. If a parent books for a child, we collect only what that booking needs.

3. Why we collect it
• To process bookings, payments and membership
• To send class details, reminders and service messages
• To answer enquiries
• To improve the website and teaching operations
• To meet legal, accounting and safety requirements

We do not use your data to diagnose or treat medical conditions.

4. Who we share it with
We share data only as needed with:
• Shopify and payment providers, to run the shop and checkout
• Email or messaging tools, to send booking messages you requested
• Instructors or venue staff who need the attendee list for a specific class
• Authorities if the law requires it

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your file with another clinic or centre unless you ask us in writing to transfer your own data.

5. Website platform (Shopify)
This store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes store and checkout data under its own terms and security standards. Card details are handled by the payment provider. AWRTC staff do not store full card numbers.

Shopify and some tools may process data outside Hong Kong. We use them only to operate this website and your booking.

6. WhatsApp, email and updates
We use your phone or email to send booking details and class reminders.
Promotional messages are sent only if you have asked for them or have not opted out. Reply STOP or email info@awrtc.com to stop marketing. We may still send service messages about a class you already booked.

7. Photos and recording
AWRTC may photograph or record classes for teaching quality or for the website and social media.
If you do not want your face used in publicity, tell us before the class.
Students must not record, photograph or share class content unless we have given written permission.

8. Retention
We keep booking and account records only as long as needed for the class, membership, accounting and the law, then delete or anonymise them.

9. Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data.
Email info@awrtc.com with the subject “Personal Data Request”. We may need to verify your identity before we reply.

10. Cookies
The site may use cookies for the cart, language and basic analytics. You can block cookies in your browser. The cart or login may then not work fully.

11. Changes
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
