Terms of Service — Awareness Wellness Resources & Training Centre (AWRTC)

These terms apply when you use www.awrtc.com, book or attend any class, assessment, membership or event, buy a product, or visit our centre.
By placing an order or taking part, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Return and Refund Policy.

1. What AWRTC is
Awareness Wellness Resources & Training Centre (AWRTC) is an education, training and wellness-resources platform in Hong Kong.
We offer experience classes, courses, workshops, membership, learning content, and access to wellness technology and products.

AWRTC is not a hospital, clinic or registered medical practice.
Nothing on this website is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
We work within Hong Kong’s Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (Cap. 231) and the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

AHAmatrix / AHAtribe names describe our educational framework and community. They are not a medical service.

If an independent practitioner or partner offers a session through this platform, that person is responsible for their own professional work. AWRTC is the booking and education platform, not that practitioner’s clinic.

3. Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed only when payment is received, unless we write otherwise.
Prices are in Hong Kong dollars as shown on the product page.
Give a correct name, phone and email. We send class notices to that email or WhatsApp.

We may refuse or cancel an order if information is incomplete or if we reasonably suspect fraud.

4. Cancellation, transfer and refund
Fees for courses, workshops and experience classes are non-refundable after registration, except as set out in the Return and Refund Policy.
You may apply for one transfer within 6 months, subject to availability and our approval.
Appointments and single sessions: at least 24 hours’ notice. Less than 24 hours: 50% of the fee. No-show: 100%.
If AWRTC cancels a class, you will be offered a transfer or a refund of that class fee.

There is no 14-day or 30-day “change of mind” return on classes or opened hygiene-sensitive products.

5. Class and centre rules
• Arrive on time. Very late arrival may mean you cannot join that session.
• Follow the instructor. Stop if you feel unwell and say so at once.
• No recording, photography, live-stream or sharing of class content without our written permission.
• Teaching materials belong to AWRTC or the instructor.
• Keep phones silent. Use socks in areas marked shoe-free.
• Respect staff, instructors and other participants. We may ask a person who harasses others to leave, without refund.

6. Health and safety
You confirm you are fit for the activity you booked.
Tell us before the session about injury, illness, pregnancy or any limit the instructor should know.
Participation is voluntary. You take part at your own risk, except for liability that Hong Kong law does not allow us to exclude (including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance, Cap. 571).
If you have a serious health condition, ask a licensed clinician before you enrol.

7. Technology screening and assessments
Scans, breath tests, microbiome tests, retinal or fundus imaging, posture analysis, energy or frequency assessments, and similar tools are for education, awareness and general wellness support.
They are not a medical diagnosis, not a medical examination, and not a substitute for a doctor, laboratory or hospital.
Results may differ from clinical tests. If a report raises a concern, see a licensed clinician.
We do not claim that these tools treat, cure or prevent disease.

8. Products, supplements and consumables
Food, supplements, devices or home-use items on this site are not registered medicines unless the product page says they are.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Follow the label. Stop and seek professional advice if you feel unwell.
Sealed items opened for hygiene reasons cannot be returned, except where the law requires.

9. Membership
Membership benefits, length and expiry are those shown at purchase.
Once a membership period has started, fees are non-refundable unless that product page says otherwise.
Membership does not make you a patient of AWRTC and does not include medical care.

10. Age
Participants must be 18 or over, unless the product page is for families or children.
Children must be accompanied as that page requires. We may ask for proof of age.

11. Photos and recording
We may photograph or record sessions for teaching quality or for our website and social media.
If you do not want your face used in publicity, tell us before the session.

12. Weather
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force 2 hours before start time, the session is postponed or moved. We will notify you by email or WhatsApp.
A make-up or transfer will be offered where reasonably possible. Extra refund is only as in the Return and Refund Policy.

13. Website
You may not misuse the site, attack its security, or copy content for commercial use without permission.
Product descriptions are for education and general information. We may correct errors.

14. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the date you book applies to that booking.

15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
